Darkwave’s debut material, Hexapla was released on August 3, 2021. The original idea behind the creation of the album was to put together a thrash-metal based, but also deeply emotional and multi-layered musical composition. The six songs – with a title being a reference to the monumental, six-fold opus by Origen of Alexandria around 200 A.D. – try to represent six different, still coherent aspects of the same musical approach of speed, diversity and emotionality.
